KALAYA, December 2: Twelve militants have been killed in a clash with security forces in Orakzai Agency at morning.
Security officials say that nearly 50 militants attacked the Shireen Dara checkpost at the crack of dawn. However, the security forces personnel escaped unhurt.
In retaliatory fire, the security forces killed 12 militants. Previously, the militants had attacked the same checkpost twice. On 1 November, six Frontier Corps personnel and about 20 militants had been killed in a similar clash in the agency.
