MIRANSHAH, September 15: The security forces claim to have killed another 15 miscreants in Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan tribal region.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which manages public relations for the armed forces of Pakistan, says in a statement that they took action in Tabai area of Miranshah at morning on 15 September.
It said the jetfighters destroyed five hideouts of militants. The ISPR said the forces had also destroyed 10 explosives-packed vehicles.
The Pakistan Army has been busy in the military operation in North Waziristan since June. Thousands of families have been displaced from the tribal region due to the operation and they are either staying at relief camps or living with relatives and in rented houses in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
