BISHAM, May 4: The police have arrested 48 people, including 15 proclaimed offenders, officials said.
They police said that on a tip-off, they conducted raids in border areas with Buner district and arrested the 15 armed men, who had been wanted by the police since long.
The officials said they had also arrested 33 suspects and recovered 15 rifles, 12 pistols, 26 guns, two repeaters and one Kalashnikovs from their possession.
On 3 May, the security forces arrested a man during a search operation and recovered anti-aircraft guns and mortar shells from him.
