PESHAWAR, July 18: The Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources has revealed in a report that 19 companies selling mineral water are providing unhygienic product in major cities of Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Council has notified that they took water samples from 111 companies and after testing the water of 19 companies was found germ-infested and affected by chemicals, which are injurious to human health.
The report also says that various types of germs were found in the water, which could cause diseases of lungs, skin, abdomen, blood pressure, diabetes and heart diseases.
