BARA, October 29: The Pakistan Army claims to have killed 20 militants and destroyed four hideouts in Khyber Agency.

In addition, eight suspected militants have been injured in airstrikes.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which deals with media on behalf of the armed forces, says the fighter jets blitzed areas of Akakhel in Tirah Valley at morning.

As a result, 20 militants were killed and eight injured, while four hideouts are raised to the ground as well.

Miranshah, Mir Ali, Razmak cleared of militants

Meanwhile, armed forces claim to have cleared the areas of Miranshah, Mir Ali and Razmak during the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The ISPR Director General, Major General Asim Bajwa, told media that the armed forces had killed more than 1100 militants in the operation, and that the security forces were heading towards Dattakhel to free the area of miscreants.

He claimed that more than 40 militants had been killed and hundreds of armaments and weapons seized in Khyber Agency as well.

The ISPR chief said the government of Afghanistan had been asked to cooperate with them but that they did not extend them help in any matter.
