BARA, October 16: The security forces claim to have killed 21 militants in Khyber Agency.
`The Inter-Services Public Relations, a department that manages public relations for the Pakistani armed forces, says the fighter jets of the Air Force targeted locations in Akakhel and Sipah area of Tirah valley.
Five hideouts of militants were also destroyed in the action, the ISPR statement adds.
The security forces have been fighting militants in Khyber Agency since long. The Tirah valley is a far-off Pakistan area close to the Afghan border. A suicide attack in Tirah left several people dead during an assembly of local peace committee on 15 October.
