JAMRUD, November 27: The administration of Khyber Agency has arrested 22 persons from Shahkas area of Jamrud under the collective responsibility law after an attack on a security forces convoy.
The administration says these people have been arrested from Kathiakhel tribe where the security forces convoy was attacked two days ago in which two soldiers had died and another sustained injuries.
Under the Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) the local population is responsible for the security of their area and the administration can make arrests in case of any untoward happening in the area.
