In a series of security operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22 militants were killed, while six soldiers embraced martyrdom during intense clashes, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Over December 6 and 7, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Gul Imam area of Tank district, effectively targeting a militant hideout. The operation resulted in the elimination of nine militants and left six others injured, who were subsequently arrested.

In a separate operation in North Waziristan, ten militants were neutralized. Meanwhile, in a third incident in the Thal area, Hangu district, militants attempted an assault on a security checkpoint. The ensuing gunfire led to the death of several militants and the martyrdom of six soldiers.
The ISPR stated that clearance operations are underway in the affected regions to eliminate any remaining threats:
"Pakistan’s security forces remain steadfast in their resolve to eradicate terrorism. The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our determination."
