
MIRANSHAH, October 27: The Pakistan Army claims to have killed 33 militants and destroyed nine hideouts in the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan tribal region.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which manages public relations for the Pakistani armed forces, says the forces killed 18 militants in Dattakhel and about 15 militants in the area of Garlamai in the aerial strikes.
Nine FC men injured in Bajaur blast
Meanwhile, nine security personnel have been injured in a bomb blast in Bajaur Agency.
Official say the incident took place in Hilalkhel, situated in the region of Chaarmang, Nawagai tehsil. A roadside bomb exploded during the search operation by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
The casualties were taken to the hospital, where doctors said a soldier was in a critical condition.
