PESHAWAR, July 12: The federal government says it has distributed 350 million rupees cash to more than 28,800 displaced families of North Waziristan.
A report forwarded by the National Disaster Management Authority to the Prime Minister, Mr Nawaz Sharif, says that all facilities are being provided to the displaced families at registration and ration centres. It said the centres have separate portions for stay of men and women.
The reports also says 66,727 SIMs have been distributed to the displaced people, out of which 15,000 SIMs have been activated. It says authorities will begin providing the relief money to the affectees through the SIMs.
