BUNER, November 7: The Pakistan Army along with the district administration has set up a free medical camp in Gogand Manyari village in Ghareeza area of Buner district.

Apart from free medication, almost 750 patients were examined and their medical tests were also conducted.

Locals residents told TNN that the Daggar Headquarter Hospital was quite far-off from them and that there were few facilities available for them. They said the free medical camp was like a blessing for them.

“We belong to Ghareeza and people here are financially weak. The non-governmental organisations that work here should also hold such free medical camps just like the Pakistan Army did. That’s really good as the poor people have been examined free of cost and everything has ended perfectly,” stated one of the visitors at the camp.

Brigadier Ahmed Bilal Janjua, commander of Malakand Taskforce, said that free medical camps would be held in the underdeveloped areas of Swat, Buner and Malakand in near future.
