Ambulance Blocked by Protesters Leads to Woman’s Death in Jamrud

JAMRUD - A tragic incident occurred in the Ali Masjid area of Jamrud where a woman fell from a mountain and sustained critical injuries. According to sources, the woman needed immediate medical attention and was being transported to a hospital. However, the ambulance carrying her was stopped by protesters at the Bhagyari checkpoint.

Despite repeated pleas from the injured woman's family for the protesters to clear the way, citing the urgency of the situation, the protesters refused to allow the ambulance through. After a delay of half an hour, the ambulance was finally permitted to pass, but unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries due to the delayed arrival at the hospital.

In a separate incident, a truck carrying tomatoes and vegetables from Afghanistan fell into a deep ravine at the Shaheed Miyana Mor area in Malagori. Local sources reported damage to the truck and its cargo, but no casualties were reported.
