PESHAWAR, September 19: Another traffic policeman has been killed at Chongi Chowk in precinct of Balamari Police Station.
The police say Constable Ihsanullah Khan was on duty when unidentified armed men travelling in a car opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. The attackers escaped after the firing.
In May, a traffic warden, Sub-Inspector Muslim Khan, was killed in a similar attack in the provincial capital. Another traffic policeman had been killed on Pajagi Road in July.
The funeral prayer of the policeman was offered at Malik Saad Khan Police Lines.
