KHAR, May 10: The administration of Bajaur tribal region has decided to launch the anti-polio immunisation campaign from 26 May in the agency.
Political Agent Syed Jabbar Shah called a meeting of local administration and health authorities in agency headquarters Khar.
The meeting was told that the drive would continue for 12 days in which children would be vaccinated against polio, fever, hepatitis, pneumonia and typhoid.
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completed the ‘Sehat Ka Insaf’ vaccination campaign in Peshawar where children were immunised against nine diseases including polio.
