Kohat: Unidentified assailants attacked the farmhouse of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesperson and former minister Amjad Khan Afridi, injuring his son, Babar Azeem Afridi, in a firing incident. Babar Azeem was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
According to sources, this is not the first attack on Amjad Khan Afridi's farmhouse, as it has been targeted previously. Babar Azeem Afridi recently contested the Tehsil Chairman elections in Kohat.

Amjad Khan Afridi condemned the attack, stating that "the value of human life has diminished under PTI's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa." He called for an immediate and transparent investigation by the police to bring the perpetrators to justice.
