The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest player rankings for the Test and T20 formats. According to the rankings, Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has slipped five places and fallen out of the top 10, dropping to 15th position. England’s Harry Brook has retained the top spot in the Test batting rankings.

In the Test batting rankings, Australia’s Steve Smith is second, while England’s Joe Root is third. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has climbed 15 places to 18th position. Among other Pakistani batters, Mohammad Rizwan has dropped seven places to 33rd, while Shan Masood is 41st and Salman Ali Agha is 43rd.

In the Test bowling rankings, Australia’s Mitchell Starc has moved to the top after taking 10 wickets in the second Test against Bangladesh. India’s Jasprit Bumrah has consequently lost the number-one spot.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas has climbed 10 places to 16th, while Noman Ali has slipped one place to ninth. England’s Ollie Robinson has reached a career-best fifth position, while Josh Tongue is ranked 14th. Gus Atkinson has dropped 10 places to 24th.

In the T20 batting rankings, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan has retained second place. In the T20 bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is ranked first, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is second.

In the T20 team rankings, India are ranked first, followed by England in second, Australia in third, New Zealand in fourth, South Africa in fifth, and Pakistan in sixth.
