KHAR, September 17: The Shuhada (martyrs) Bajaur Badminton Tournament has concluded in Bajaur Agency.
The Young Mir Ali and PA Senio teams contested the final match at the Sports Complex in the tribal area on 16 September. The Mir Ali team won the match by 2-1 seats.
A total of 12 teams from all over Bajaur Agency participated in the tournament.
Bajaur is one of the tribal agencies where the Pakistan Army has been busy in operation against militants. The army has started organising sports event as part of efforts to restore peace in the the area, which was once ruled by militants affiliated with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
