NOWSHERA, May 21: Armed thieves have looted 3.1 million rupees from a bank in Nowshera district and also injured a security guard.
The police say five robbers entered the United Bank Limited on Aziz Bhatti Road in Nowshera Cantonment. They decamped with mobile phones of the bank staff, a computer, a gun of the guard and Rs3.1 million cash amount.
However, the police have registered a case against the manager of the bank, cashier and the injured guard as they suspected their statements.
The police say they have stated investigation while using the bank’s security cameras.
