TANK, September 13: Staff of the Basic Health Unit, Gara Baloch village in Tank district has been facing problems due to shortage of medicines and water in the premises.
A lady health worker of the BHU, Ms Nusrat Begum, told TNN that patients of fever, diahhera and gynae issues visited the BHU but that they could not get medication in an approproiate way becuase they lacked facilities.
She said they informed the authorities about the problems several times, but to no avail.
“Here some patients come for delivery cases, others for family planning, checkup, etc. We somtimes provide them available medicines but often times we ask them to buy the medicines from the market. I bring water from my home and condition of roads is also pitiable,” she added.
