The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially released the schedule for the MDCAT 2026, which is required for admission to MBBS and BDS programs across the country.

According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the MDCAT examination will be held on August 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM nationwide.

The responsibility for conducting the test has been assigned to different institutions across provinces. In Punjab, the exam will be organized by the University of Health Sciences Lahore, while in Sindh it will be conducted by the IBA University Sukkur.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the test will be administered by the Khyber Medical University. For Balochistan, the responsibility has been given to the Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences.

Meanwhile, for candidates from Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the exam will be conducted under the supervision of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University.

As per the public notice, online registration will begin on June 22, 2026. The deadline for regular registration is July 8, 2026, while late registration will be accepted until July 13, 2026.

The registration fee for test centers in Pakistan has been set at Rs 9,000, while the late fee is Rs 13,000. For international test centers, the fee is Rs 45,000, and the late fee is Rs 55,000. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, the PMDC added.
