

PESHAWAR, September 5: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education has announced the results of diploma of associate engineering (DAE) examination.
According to a notification, about 76,000 students of civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics, telecommunication, dress designing and dress making appeared in the examination while 47.4% passed the examination.
On 4 September, a ceremony was held in which the highly achieving students were awarded prizes. Mr Naeemullah Shah of the Muslim Institute of Technology, Abbotabad was given 35,000 rupees cash prize for securing the first position.
Mr Muhammad Raees of the Gandhara Institute of Technology, Chakdara got second position and cash prize of 25,000 rupees while Mr Islam Muhammad Naeem of the Red Sea Institute of Engineering and Technology was awarded 20,000 rupees for third position.
On the occasion, Mr Naeem said, “I am very glad to receive this prize and I would also like to ask other students to work hard to win such prizes. I will serve my country after completion of my [engineering] education.”
