In three separate blind murder cases reported in Karak and Peshawar districts, the bodies of three individuals, including a young girl, have been recovered, prompting police to launch investigations to trace the killers.

In Karak's Teri area, the body of 26-year-old Muzammil Farid, son of Farid and an electrician by profession, was found inside an abandoned house.

According to police, Muzammil had left home two days ago in the evening and had been missing since then. Initial investigations revealed he was shot dead. After a post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to the family.

This marks the second such case in Karak within 24 hours. A day earlier, the body of another young man, Tahir Irfan, a resident of Karak city who had gone missing a day before, was also recovered.

Meanwhile, in Peshawar’s Bhana Mari police jurisdiction, the body of an 8-year-old Afghan-origin girl, daughter of Aala Muhammad, was recovered from a neighbor’s house in Landi Arbab. The girl had been reported missing by her father three days earlier.

Police say a suspect was taken into custody during the investigation, and the girl’s body was found at his residence today. The body has been shifted to a hospital for autopsy, and further legal proceedings are underway.
