BANNU, May 20: The police in Bannu district claim to have foiled a bombing bid and also recovered a man from captivity of kidnappers.
The bomb disposal squad defused a bomb planted in front of the house of one Wasim in Bannu city at morning.
In separate incident, personnel of the Ghoriwala Police Station conducted a raid in Degan village and recovered one Ibrahim, who had been kidnapped from Tajori area of Lakki Marwat district a month ago.
