PESHAWAR, April 30: The Afridi Students Union has asked the government to increase the quota for FATA students in all universities of the province.
President of the Union, Mr Malik Siraj Afridi, told journalists at the Peshawar Press Club that the students of the tribal areas were in trouble because of the inadequate number of seats for them at educational institutions.
He also asked the authorities to raise the amount of yearly scholarships for tribal students from 3000 to 5000 rupees.
