Saif-ur-Rehman Wazir, the president of the Chamber of Commerce South Waziristan Upper, has been rescued eight days after his abduction, bringing relief to the business community.
Wazir was kidnapped on February 14 while returning from Angoor Adda, along with two Customs officials, by unidentified armed men.

According to Deputy Commissioner Nasir Khan, Saif-ur-Rehman, Customs Superintendent Nisar Abbasi, and Inspector Khushhal were on their way back from the Customs office at the Pak-Afghan border in Angoor Adda when armed individuals intercepted their vehicle and took them to an undisclosed location.
While Wazir has been recovered, Customs Superintendent Nisar Abbasi and Inspector Khushhal remain missing. No significant progress has been reported in their rescue, and authorities have not provided further details regarding the ongoing efforts.
