PESHAWAR, September 26: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Mr Pervez Khattak, has announced Eid Package of Rs5,000 each for families displaced from Khyber Agency and now staying at relief camps in Hangu district and Jalozai (Nowshera district).

A delegation from Khyber Agency met the chief minister on 25 September and discussed the problems being faced by about 5,000 displaced families.

The chief minister assured the delegation to solve all their problems and announced 5,000 rupees per family for the coming Eidul Azha.

Mr Khattak also ordered the commissioner Peshawar to make sure compensation to the victims of Jalozai Camp blast and also give passage to pedestrians from Khyber Agency to cross the wall constructed around Hayatabad township of Peshawar.

The chief ministers also ordered the Peshawar Development Authority to complain to the foreign welfare organisations regarding provision of substandard flour to the IDPs and to demand standard food items for them.
