TANK, November 12: A three-year-old child has died after fire engulfed a tent that was housing a family displaced from South Waziristan in Gomal area of Tank district.
TNN correspondent says the fire erupted when a woman was cooking roti (bread) in Narsez area and the tent caught fire.
As a result, a three-year told child was burnt to death. Lives of displaced people, particularly children, are vulnerable to such incidents because the families are faced with shortage of facilities at relief camps.
