PESHAWAR, November 8: The Chief Minister, Mr Pervez Khattak, has approved a project worth 3 billion rupees to promote tourism in Malam Jabba area of Swat district.

At a meeting yesterday, the chief minister signed an agreement with a mobile phone company Samsung. According to the agreement, the company will build one five-star and a three-star hotel, a chairlift and ski resort.

The scheme will be completed within two years and the company has been allotted 270 acres land on lease.

The chief minister also said that in case of crowds, the tourists would be given the facility of helicopters.
