PESHAWAR, July 26: Mr Shah Hussain of Pakistan has qualified for the men’s judo finals in the 100-kilogram category in the Commonwealth Games that are under way in Scotland.
In semi-final match, Mr Shah Hussain beat Mr Tim Slyfied of New Zealand. In final match, Mr Hussain will face the Euwan Burton of Scotland.
Previously, Mr Hussain had won a bronze medal in the Asian Judo Championship and bronze again at Under-20 JIKJI Cup International Judo Championship, which was held in South Korea.
In ongoing Commonwealth Games, Pakistan has not won any medal till now.
