BANNU, October 22: Known player of national cricket team, Mr Shahid Khan Afridi, has visited Bakakhel camp of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bannu where . Meanwhile, a cricket match was also organised over there.
On the occasion, a cricket match between the teams, i.e. Shahid Afridi Eleven and IDPs Eleven, was held. The IDPs Eleven team was led by Col Azhar while Mr Shahid Afridi was the captain of the Shahid Afridi Eleven.
Mr Shahid Afridi scored 45 runs out of the total of 80 runs by his team in 10 overs, while the other team couldn’t chase the target and eventually lost the match. A huge number of people came to see their favourite player.
At the end, Shahid Afridi appealed to the nation and the international community to help the displaced people to the maximum in this critical time.
