The death toll from the terrorist attack on a relief convoy in Kurram district has risen to five, including two security personnel and three drivers, according to police sources. Five drivers remain missing, while five other personnel sustained injuries during the assault.
Trader representatives stated that following the attack, the assailants looted the trucks before setting them on fire.

It is worth noting that the convoy, consisting of 35 trucks loaded with medicines, fruits, vegetables, and other essential supplies, was on its way to Kurram when it was ambushed. Initially, one security official was reported killed, while six attackers were neutralized in a counteroffensive by security forces.
The district administration confirmed that three vehicles in the convoy were damaged during the attack. Despite heavy security arrangements, including personnel from the police, Frontier Corps (FC), and other security forces, the convoy was ultimately forced to return to Thall following the assault.
