Two tube-well operators were abducted from the Rodi Khel area of Dera Ismail Khan, prompting their family members and local residents to stage a protest and block Sadrra Mor to traffic. The protesters demanded the immediate recovery of the abductees and the arrest of those responsible.

According to police, the two abducted men, Asmatullah and Samiullah, are brothers who work as tube-well operators.

Following the incident, local police reached the scene and began negotiations with the protesters and the abductees’ family members. Police said an investigation was underway to recover the abductees and trace the kidnappers.

It is worth mentioning that around 22 people travelling in two buses were abducted from Prowa tehsil eight days ago. The abductees included 17 employees of local sugar mills. However, they have yet to be recovered.
