PESHAWAR, July 8: Women of the tribal areas are facing a host of problems at registration centers set up for internally displaced persons of North Waziristan in Peshawar.
IDPs told TNN that the registration center for men and women had been established in one building. “This is against our tribal traditions, because our women observe purdah,” said an IDP at the centre.
The IDPs have also demanded increase in registration desks to expedite the registration process.
