A Frontier Corps (FC) post in Takhti Khel, Baka Khel area of Bannu district, came under a drone attack by terrorists, security sources said. The assault, carried out using a quadcopter, killed one soldier, Minabacha, and injured three others.

The injured personnel, identified as Lance Naik Syedullah, Sepoy Noor Muhammad, and Sepoy Nooruddin, were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

Following the incident, security forces launched a search operation in the area to track down the perpetrators.

According to security sources, the Takhti Khel FC post has faced over a dozen terrorist attacks to date, with more than five of them conducted using drones.

Meanwhile, in Bannu’s Hovid area, security forces and police are conducting a joint search and targeted operation against terrorist elements hiding in the region. The operation, based on intelligence reports, aims to eliminate terrorism and restore lasting peace in the area.
