The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather across most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, while upper and mountainous areas are expected to remain cold, particularly during the night.
According to the Met Office, similar weather conditions are likely to continue on Friday, with most parts of the province remaining dry. However, temperatures in hilly regions are expected to drop further, bringing colder mornings and nights.
The PMD also reported that the plains of Punjab will continue to experience smog, with light fog expected in some areas.
During the past 24 hours, most parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, witnessed dry weather, while upper regions remained cold. Light fog and smog were recorded in parts of Punjab’s plains.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded today were: Leh -7°C, Skardu -6°C, Gilgit and Ziarat -3°C, Kalat -2°C, and Quetta and Astore -1°C.
