JAMRUD, April 28: At least eight people were injured when unidentified gunmen attacked a NATO container on the Pak-Afghan Highway in Khyber Agency.

Residents told TNN that the gunmen fired shots on a convoy of NATO vehicles on Jamrud bypass road en route Afghanistan. Two people were wounded in the firing while six others sustained injuries when two containers fell into a ravine as the drivers lost control over the steering.

ROCKETS FIRED ON PESHAWAR AIRPORT: Meanwhile, two rockets fired from an undisclosed location landed at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar, but no casualty was reported.

The airport administration told TNN that the rockets were fired last night, causing damage to the runway.
