MIRANSHAH, September 24: Eight suspected militants have been killed in a US drone attack in North Waziristan.
Administration officials say the drone fired four missiles on a van parked in front of a house in Lawara Mandai area in Datakhel tehsil, killing eight suspected militants.
It is seventh drone attack in tribal areas this year. The Pakistani government has complained against the drone attacks considering it intrusion in its territory.
The human rights council of the United Nations has condemned the American drone attacks in different countries, including Pakistan, because the world body says many innocent people have been killed in these attacks.
