Explosion Destroys Sole Girls' School in North Waziristan

An explosion devastated a girls' school in North Waziristan, dealing a severe blow to education in the region. Local reports indicate that a private girls' school in Tehsil Shivah was targeted by a bomb attack.

The school's watchman recounted that unidentified individuals detonated a bomb at the school premises last night, destroying two school rooms. He added that he was subjected to brutal torture before being released.

It is worth noting that this particular school was the sole private educational institution for girls in the vicinity. This incident follows a pattern of attacks on girls' education in the region, with two girls' schools in Tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan being targeted by explosives last year.
