Explosion Rocks Upper Orakzai’s Sama Mamozai Bazaar, One Dead, Four Injured

Following the explosion, police, law enforcement agencies, and rescue teams rushed to the site. The injured were given first aid before being shifted to THQ Hospital, Ghaljo, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

An explosion in Sama Mamozai Bazaar, Upper Orakzai, claimed the life of one person and left four others injured on Friday.

Authorities Launch Investigation

Deputy Commissioner Irfanuddin confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are underway to determine the nature of the blast. 

Following the explosion, police, law enforcement agencies, and rescue teams rushed to the site. The injured were given first aid before being shifted to THQ Hospital, Ghaljo, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area, collecting evidence and launching a search operation as part of their investigation.

Second Explosion in a Day

This incident comes just hours after a suicide blast at Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak, Nowshera, during Friday prayers, which killed JUI-S leader Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq and four others. Security across the region has been tightened following these attacks.
