BANNU: The bodies of two individuals, a father and son, were recovered from the jurisdiction of Meeryan Police Station in Bannu on Saturday. The victims, identified as Saifullah and Muntazir, were shot dead.
According to police officials, they received information about two bodies lying on Meeryan-Jani Khel Road. A police team immediately reached the scene and shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered at Meeryan Police Station against four suspects. The complainant informed the police that they had a long-standing enmity with the accused, which is believed to be the motive behind the killings.
It is worth mentioning that earlier today, the body of a young child was also recovered from the Eidgah area in Dera Ismail Khan. Multiple incidents of murder have been reported across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the holy month of Ramadan, including in Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, and Charsadda.
