An FC (Frontier Corps) soldier was martyred after unknown armed men opened fire on him in Hayat Khel village of Lakki Marwat district.

According to police, unidentified assailants opened fire on Inaamullah outside his home late last night, leaving him critically injured. He was immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Lakki Marwat, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police sources said that Inaamullah was serving in the Frontier Corps and had returned to his hometown on leave. Following the incident, police collected evidence from the crime scene and launched a search operation to trace the attackers.

It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, two police personnel, Naqeebullah and Sher Qadir, were also martyred in a firing incident by unidentified armed men in Spin Wam, North Waziristan.
