In Bannu's Miryan police jurisdiction, an FC personnel on leave was shot and killed by unidentified terrorists. According to SHO Miryan Ismatullah Khan, the deceased, Khurshid Alam, was stationed in Balochistan and originally hailed from Lakki Marwat. Unmarried, he had traveled to the Miryan area on a motorcycle to visit someone when he was attacked and fatally shot.
Upon receiving the information, a heavy contingent of police reached the crime scene. The body was transported to the hospital, and a case has been registered against unknown assailants. Investigations are underway to trace the culprits.

The Miryan area is considered highly dangerous due to frequent terrorist activities. Police patrols in the region are conducted using armored vehicles, and officers reportedly retreat to the station and lock its gates before sunset.
This incident follows the killing of another FC personnel, Ehsan, in Tank district a day earlier. Ehsan, who was also on leave, was targeted near Kiryana Pul by unidentified gunmen. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
