MIRANSHAH, June 18: The federal government has approved 500 million rupees for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan, displaced due to the military operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The agency administration also released the schedule of the migration of the local people to same safe areas. The Federal Minister for Finance, Mr Ishaq Dar, told the National Assembly that they had handed over the amount to Mr Abdul Qadir Baloch who is supervising the military operation.

The fund would be utilised for the provision of food, shelter and medication facilities to the displaced people.

North Waziristan administration has also released the three-day schedule for the migration of the local people. As per the schedule, the residents of Mirali and Razmak areas North of Waziristan would move to Bannu district after their registration at the Khajorai checkpost.

The residents of agency headquarters Miranshah and Ghulam Khan will migrate to safer places tomorrow after their registration at Eesha checkpost. The residents of Booya and Dattakhel area would leave on 20 June through the Esha checkpost.
