PESHAWAR, October 1: The provincial government has decided to change the schedule of the Hajj flights due to recent attacks on planes at the Bacha Khan International Airport.

The authorities have shifted the night time fights of the Hajj pilgrims to daytime. On 30 September, a meeting of Civil Aviation Authority and members of the Hajj operation and district administration was held, after which the schedule of Hajj operations was released.

As per the schedule, the first return flight of Hajj pilgrims would be on 9 October and the flights would continue till 7 November.

It was also decided at the meeting that people coming to welcome Hajj pilgrims would not be allowed to go beyond the Peshawar Sports Complex.
