HANGU, July 17: Five people, including four children, died while three others sustained injuries in a bomb explosion in Hangu district.
The police say an improvised explosive device planted by unidentified people exploded in Daroori area. Another bomb exploded at the venue when the local residents and children rushed to the scene, killing five people and injuring three others.
All the children killed in the blast were aged between 8 to 10 years. The provincial government has announced 500,000 rupees each for the families of the deceased and 200,000 rupees each for the injured.
