
PESHAWAR, July 2: The Peshawar Police have arrested five members of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, including a key commander, in two separate actions.
The police say they stopped a suspicious vehicle travelling from Dara Adamkhel to Badaber at morning and recovered two hand grenades, explosive material and other arms from it. All those arrested belong to Khyber Agency.
Meanwhile, the police arrested a Taliban commander, Mr Ali Haider, from Sulemankhel area. Mr Haider was involved in seven murder cases and attacks on police, the officials said.
