Haripur: The body of five-year-old Ayat Noor, who had been missing for 15 days, was recovered from a well at a warehouse on University Road.

According to police, Ayat Noor had gone out of her home to play and subsequently went missing. Police said the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered, after which her body was thrown into the well.

Police said three suspects were detained during the search for the girl. One of them allegedly confessed before a judge to sexually assaulting the child.

According to police, two suspects are currently in jail, while one remains in police custody.
