MIRANSHAH, September 8: The security forces claim to have killed another 10 militants during the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb, which was launched in June in North Waziristan tribal region.
The ISPR, which manages public relations for the Pakistani armed forces, says in a statement that the forces took action in Boya and Degan areas where the military helicopters targeted several hideouts of militants.
It says the forces have also destroyed an arms’ depot and five vehicles.
The military operation has displaced thousands of families from North Waziristan and many have been demanding the government repatriate them back to their native areas.
