In the Toru, Qayumabad area of Mardan, unidentified assailants opened fire, killing former president of the Mardan District Bar Association, Noor Badshah Advocate, while his son and two passersby were injured.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, Noor Badshah Advocate died on the spot as a result of the firing.

 His son, Mamoon son of Noor Badshah, along with Suhail son of Afsar Ali and Fawad son of Ikram, sustained injuries in the incident.

The Rescue 1122 medical team promptly reached the scene and shifted the deceased and the injured to Toru Hospital.

 The injured were later transferred to MMC Hospital for further treatment.

Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
