DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A dispute over irrigation in the Bhagwani Shumali area of Paharpur turned deadly as an altercation between two groups escalated from a physical brawl to an exchange of gunfire, leaving four people dead and four others injured.
According to police, both sides—who were cousins—opened fire on each other after a minor disagreement spiraled out of control. The deceased are Nasrullah, Sanaullah, Amir Hamza, and Aashiq.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, where the condition of three is reported to be critical. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
